guys im geting new pc and i plan on switching to fiber optics net and i was woundering if i need to add something to pc if i need new type of connector or wifi support
where do you live to get fibre? normally they will provide a fiber optic endpoint which has an ethernet port on it for your internal home network to connect to rather than having fiber directly to your computer, so just a normal ethernet port and cable will do.

what speed of fiber are you supposed to be getting anyway and who from? normally it will be slower than ethernet and ethernet is 1Gb on most equipment now.
