Hey guys, sup? So ive been looking for an addition to my gaming rig(if i can call it that) and theres just one little thing i need, a graph card. Now bakc in my noob days i saw the GT 520 had 2Gigs ram and im like, SCORE! Then i realized VRAM isnt everything, LOL. So right now im rocking the GT520 with an i7-2600 @ 3.8 turbo with 4GB x2 1333Mhz Transcend RAM , and Intel DH67BL_ mobo with a 350HS 350W Seasonic PSU. Since im on a PRETTY tight budget, i cant afford a PSU. So my new card is gonna have to perform under 75W, the power via the 2.0 x16 lane.
so far ive been looking at the HD 7750/HD 7770/gtx 650. Any suggestions? Again, i have NO PCIe connectors, only 12V EPS 8pins. Oh, and i play pretty intensive games like BF3/Crysis , bleh bleh. (no, thats not actually a game ^_^).
So whatever suggestions you have, please gimme, and keep in mind im based in india, so please make sure www.flipkart.com has the required card. Cheers :) .

If you look at the link I showed, someone definitely thinks they have one.

It's quite hard to tell the difference between an 8-pin CPU and 8-pin PCIe connector. Can you check?

OMGOMGOMGOGM. Just realised i DO have a 6PIN , it was connected to an extension cable so i just didnt notice it. Stupid techie showed me the +12 EPS when i asked if the PSU came with a 6pin. Indian techies *sigh*. Just confirming, it has 6 pins, is black, and has the yellow cables on the same side as clip and doesnt have a bridge. Oh, and i also have an EPS, which is 8pin, didnt check for bridge and has black wires on clip side.
So i can extend to 150W? WHOOOOOOT.

Now that we're there, i was thinking maybe a HD7850?

Yeah. The 7850 has a 108W TDP if im not wrong. My Cpu is listed at 95W, but ive never seen it exceed 79W, even under stress tests. SO i think i should be good.
Im thinking the HIS/AMD with the IceQ , or the Sapphire x2 if i cant rack enough funds. *sigh* I thought i'd gotten rid of the fund problems, thinking i couldnt go over 75W, LOL.
Highschool problems :p.
Thanks mate, cheers :D

Oh, and i was wondering, could you please provide me with bench for the 7790, cant seem to find them on anandtech. Thanks :D

This is brilliant, thanks :D :D :D
You, sir just made my day. I realised i have a PCIe, despite having opened my computer over 25 times and even having it run outside the cabinet, just as a mobo, LOL. I think ill stick to the 7790, great TDP , and runs BF3 @ ultra 1080p 55FPS. :3 .
