Hi to everyone,

I'm very new here in the community and a little noob in computer hardware. I'm not noob at all, but i'm sure that here there is a lot of people better qualified to help me than myself.

I would like to know if theses components will work with no issues and with good performance. I heard that this new generation of Intel works very hot, so I would like to know too if the stock fan can do his job without OC.

Thanks to all the community

Don't worry about the stock cooler if you aren't overclocking. It works fine, just a little loud. "Very hot" is relative. intel wouldnt sell you a HSF that couldn't keep its processors cool so they burn up and they have to give a refund.

The parts you picked, although there are no links, should work together. Most important thing to remember is that the Mobo and processor has to be the same socket. Look to the mobo's vendors qualified ram list that they have posted on their website for the board in question and you should have no problems.

I'm planning not to OC right now, but I choose these components because of their quality, for a great durability. You think it's a waste of money? Thanks for the link egilbe

You mean the quality components are a scam or just the market at all of the Maximus series? Thanks for the attention Troll

the quality of the components are good, just the pricing for them is a scam. you get the same grade of components on a the z87x-d3h (the mosfets, chokes, and capacitators) for a much lower price. the other fact is how haswell effectively elminates the point of a high end board due to the built-in vrm. no matter what grade board you get, with same chip, you are going to overclock to the same level

Got it. I really thank you for your tips Troll, it will serve me very well to other machines I'm gonna build later. For now, the fact is that I really loved this board and I'm disposed to waste some money to have a ROG board, witch I have never had. The mobo's vendors qualified ram list have only the Sniper Series 1600 1,25V. You think there's gonna be some problem using 1,5V model?

for ram you always get the cheapest 1600mhz cl9 1.5v kit you can find. which happens to be this

i also hope you arent using the crappy liquid coolers

There are some G.skill sniper ram on that list that runs at 1.6v, so it probably doesn't matter.

I think you're probably right. But like i said I'm not expert.

The Sniper 1600 today, is more cheap than Ares 1 buck:

OK. Let me take advantage of your attention and ask something different from the name of the topic. I already got a new case (Cooler Master HAF 922 / RC-922M-KKN3-GP). I was thinking in buy the Samsung 840 SSD but it have 2,5" and the specification of the case says 3,5" internal drivers. I'm not with the case yet. Do you have any recommendation of an equal grade SSD?

I won the HAF from a friend that is closing his store. Excuse my ignorance if I'm wrong man, but the specification says "Internal 3.5" Drive Bays". So if the SSD is 2,5" it will not fit...

hydro is awesome, assuming you have proper quality components. every AIO unit out there except for the swiftech h220 and 320 will have mediocre or sub quality parts (cheap pump, thin aluminum radiator, cheap block)

and the fact that they will cool around the same compared a cheaper heatsink makes them a pretty poor choice for cooling
