Emacchine laptop wont charge battery

Hi my fellow technicians, I am working on E machine E525 which has a charging port problem before. The charging port was burnt out for some reason when it was brought to me for a repair.

I have successfully replaced the charging port and the laptop is recognizing it.

My issue is it only charge the battery for few seconds and then stop. Battery not charging but other than that, the laptop is now working perfectly fine.

Please I need your expert advice on what to do please. I have tried my best but yet still to no avail. I need your help please.

Thank you. This one is new battery just bought it. Is not given any warning apart fron battery not charging. No yellow or red warning.

When insert other batteries it will indicate that I need to replace the battery. I have checked solder joints on the motherboard and then seem good.

Any advice is highly welcome please

I have tried diffrent chargers but not original emachine chargers. Do you that could also be a problem?
