I am in a huge dilemma! I just updated my brand new system with liquid cooling and want to get new graphics cards but I don't know which to get. Here is what I am thinking.

I either want 2 690's, 1 titan, or 2 780's. Now here is the thing, I looked up so much about these cards, people say that it's not worth getting a titan because of the price. But pricing has gone down for all the cards and I will be buying from ebay so here are the prices for the cards.

2 GTX 690's = $1339
2 GTX 780's = $1000
1 Titan = $800

Now Because I am going liquid cooling I do have to buy waterblocks for each card (average around $130 each) and I have to put in the fact that I might not have enough power. I do have a 1000w gold standard power supply.

With the titan I am debating whether I should buy 1 card now then buy another card later. But if I can save a few extra $$$ then I would!
Here is my system
-Cooler Master Haf X
-Asus V formula Motherboard
-Intel i7 3770
-16gigs DDR3 Ram 2400
- 1000w Gold rating
-SSD 256 gigs
-1 TB HDD

The liquid cooling covers the CPU, motherboard, MOSFET, and eventually a graphics card. I have a radiator with 3 typhoon 120mm fans. And a couple of black lights here and there.

The big thing is I want a card or cards to give me ultra settings on all my games, run my graphic designing programs such as Adobe After Effects, and CS6 with 3 monitors. I have 3 27" Asus VG278He's.

Overall I just don't know what I should get. I want the best but I don't want to lose an arm and a leg if I don't have to. I will spend the money but If I can get quality and speed for a better price that would be awesome!! Please let me know what you guys think. This is my first post on the forums so I am still new to this site. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!! :)

Once you get past 2 gpu's, the benefit of adding the 3rd is less, and the 4th is not effective.
You also increase the opportunity for stuttering with more gpu's.
I would rule out the 2 x GTX690 option.

As good as the titan is, it is only a bit better than a superclocked GTX780.

My pick would be the 2 GTX780 cards in sli.

I would forget about liquid cooling.
The main purpose is to increase your overclock.
In the case of a 3770, you can't overclock. It would be better to change to a 3570K or a 3770K.

If you buy factory overclocked versions of GTX780, you will get better binning.
There are probably better places to spend the funds you would use on liquid cooling.

the gtx titan is the fastest single gpu out there, but the sli versions of the gtx 780 and 690 will beat it, i say go with the gtx 780's because they are new generation.

the 780's dont fare any better with the settings they are using and the 770's that are overclocked will be in between the score of the 770 and 780 in that bench.

byogamingpc's classified 770's are a good choice.

Hi - I agree with seladon that 2 - 770's will give you the best price/perf value, and
will yield much better perf than 1 titan. 2 - 780's will give better performance, but
at a substantially higher cost.

Also, if you're buying GPU's off ebay, plz insure that you'll get full warranty coverage.
I check out ebay frequently for monitors, and less than half the ones I look at have
the mfg warranty.
