Hello all,
So i just hooked up my new modem and router yesterday with a Comcast internet 50 Mbps download speed. It is a Motorola SB6141 Cable modem and an ASUS RT-N66U Dual band router.

When i direct connect my computer to the modem and run a speedtest i get 65 Mbps download speed, however when i hook up the router and run the same speedtest i only get 20 Mbps on the factory default settings. I am using all Cat 5e or Cat 6 cables, have tried every port on the router, and when i run speedtest on wireless devices that are hooked to the router i get 65 Mbps speeds! It is very strange and I'm not sure if there is a setting in the router that needs to be tweaked or maybe i can assign priority to my LAN connections instead of the wireless connections.
I have updated to the latest firmware using the In-browser ASUS router interface.
Any insight would be appreciated!
