I am currently looking for a good gaming mouse to play mostly fps. I am getting a Sidewinder x4 keyboard if that's relevant. I'm currently looking at the Razer Deathadder mouse but if there's any better mice for my needs, that'll help. Thank you.
PS Any mouse mats you might recommend? Since I'm getting the Deathadder, I might as well get the goliathus.

I do both as well, and it functions equally as reliably in both situations. The rubber thumb/pinky grips help a lot, and the body of the mouse has a nicely done grip surface as well.

I just got the Deathadder 2013, and I love it. I had the Mamba prior to this, but never used the wireless functionality and it was starting to give me some issues, but the Deathadder is a solid piece of gear. I use it for FPSs, RTSs, MMORPGs and RPGs, and have no problems in any of them.

Anything I should watch out for? I'm a hybrid of claw and palm grip, although I usually claw during heated gaming sessions (because I'm nervous lol) and I palm when I'm doing casual things such as browsing.

I would say grab the corsair m90/95. I've the M90 for almost a year now and there is no issues with it at all. It still looks like it did when I bought it, nothing has worn or rubbed off and the metal base on it gives it a nice weight and feel, I'd recommend this mouse to everyone.

Ok thank you, I'll go with the Deathadder. Any Mouse Pad recommendations by any chance?
