So my brother in law gave me is Corsair H60 Water cooling system for my Gaming rig.
I am using it on a Intel core 2 quad 2.4GHZ 775 Socket.
I am still getting pretty hot temps when gaming. ( not much different from when I had the stock heat sink on it.)

Is there way to clean the Corsair H60 out or put new fluid in it to make sure it is working at 100%
Also, is there any type of settings on my pc to make it run at 100% all the time in order to keep the CPU cold while gaming?
(I would rather break the free Corsair H60 water cooling system my brother in law gave me then overheat and break my CPU!!)

One last question!!
Is 72 degrees celcius too hot for mt cpu while gaming?

Okay, first things first yes, 72 is too hot while gaming, as your cpu has a Tjunction of 71.4 Celsius. Above 71.4 you risk damage, instability, and/or throttling.

You cannot refill a H60, it is a closed loop designed for extremely minimal evaporation and should *never* need refilling. There are 2 likely issues affecting its performance: dust in the radiator/fans, or improperly applied thermal paste.

1) dust: you can blow any dust in the radiator and/or fans with a cheap can of compressed air. Just make sure you keep the fans from spinning under the pressure from the compressed air, in an effort to avoid damaging the bearings in the fans.
2) More likely is improper thermal paste between the cpu and coldplate of the h60. Check your thermal paste, and preferably clean off the old paste and reapply new thermal paste. then reseat the cooler and see improvements.

Not usually a massive difference per say, but depending on just how generic and crappy the amazon paste is, artic silver can definitely make a noticible improvement, probably in the tune to 3-5 celsius cooler.

I had one, the simple answer is they are just terrible. I was sure mine was broken because in push pull with the pump and fans as high as they would go my CPU (3570K) even with the mildest of mild overclocks would jump over 90C in no time. It may be a water cooler, but that doesn't mean anything when its a slim 120mm rad. I returned it to the store and they said it worked totally fine, so I didn't have a dud, they are just crap.

Arctic Silver 5 is expensive, it will make a few degrees difference but nothing serious. If you need some thermal compound then buy it, otherwise just stick with what you are using.

The corsair is actually a very nice mid end water cooler. I currently have it in a system on an 8320AMD OCed at 4.1 constant and im getting idle temps of around 20 and stress temps of 45. I don't get how you guys are getting these insane temps but mine is working just fine.

My h60 works great. On a 4670k @ 4.4 I never go over 50 even under load. If you're having temps that high, its probably due to incorrect installation of some sort( maybe the pump plugged into the wrong header?Or incorrectly applied TIM)

Yesterday I just complete replace a old CPU cooler from Zalman CNPS9900 to Corsair H80i. The result and efficiency of this CPU cooler is tally to several computer hardware website. I comfirm corsair H80i keep my beast under 50 degree with OC of 4700mhz i7 4930k. another recommendation from my friend is NZXT Kraken X60, he say this cooler is for serious OC freak. All my recommendation is base on real life experience and no bull shitting.
