Hello,

My Logitech Trackman's main button just broke so I need a new mouse. I fell in love with it after buying it a few years ago because it has 7 programmable buttons and a scroll wheel plus it was reasonably priced. I guess it is out of production now because amazon is selling the same model for $400USD:

Can anyone link me to a similar one that has a scroll wheel and at least 5 programmable buttons that costs around $50? I can only use trackballs due to the severe arthritis in my wrist. I have seen a lot of cheap thumb controlled trackballs but I can't use those because I have arthritis in my thumb also.

Any help will be appreciated,

Thanks

My repair was a failure :( The problem turned out to be that the receiver for the main button was chipped. I tried to fix it by putting a drop of liquid plastic on the chip but it ran before it dried and froze the receiver entirely.

As a replacement I bought a used Kensington Turboball #64227. It has five buttons and a wheel so it it is perfect except that I can't figure out how to customize the buttons. Does anyone have one of these who could help me with this or recommend a third party program that can customize the buttons?

Thanks for any help
