Is my laptop un-upgradeable?

i have a hp 2000 and i have done days of research and still can not find anything that will upgrade my graphics. I can play some games kind of fine by putting it on ow graphics like dead island and just cause 2 but i try playing farcry3 and i don't have good graphics. i also found out that i have a built in AMD 6310 in the motherboard and i have to find out if it is replaceable and if it is not to have have to buy a new laptop?

That is a integrated graphics card. Most of the laptops do not feature upgradable CPU/GPUs (although you used to be able to upgrade the CPU before they started to solder the chips on the board directly, which is nearly all laptop CPUs these days). Your graphics card is actually on the CPU package itself, so it is completely not removable.

Very few laptops actually featured upgradable GPUs. Usually you have to get a gaming-specific model that uses a GPU card, in a standard format. Nearly (for the sake of the omission of maybe 1 or 2 models) none of the consumer laptops feature upgradable GPUs. The best you can do is RAM+HDD+WiFi, and even that (RAM, mostly) is starting to be soldered directly onboard.

That's called a tradeoff. Laptop portability vs desktop power, price, upgradeability.

No, you can't upgrade the graphics in that.

Buy a new laptop for 'gaming', and in 18 months you will be in the same place...looking to change it.
