Need 92mm watercooling sytem. LGA1156

Hi all, I am looking to see if anyone has heard of a 92mm watercooling system. I have found one. (http://www.gizmag.com/asetek-announces-92mm-liquid-cooling-solutions/17150/) But it costs ~$90 and so I might as well buy an adapter and a corsair one then. I want water for the silence factor, as my case is tiny so not many quiet air coolers that can handle the i7 870 fit. Even the 212 is a bit tall and might mess with my RAM. A good air cooler would work, but I have looked for about 2 months and nothing that I like has popped up.

I use the PC for physics gaming (BeamNG.drive) and F@H, so the thing heats up.

I'll leave with this. (It's my current problem, look at the fan RPM.)

Thanks!

Wait a second .... you mentioned you want water cooling so it would be quiet ..... but then you mentioned Corsair cooler...... quiet and Corsair ALC are mutually exclusive. The H100 for example gets about 1/2C better cooling than the better air coolers but their air coolers hit about 19 dbA and the Corsair is at least 40 and has been known to break 60.

Each 3 dba is a doubling of sound pressure .... so the H100 is about 128 times as loud as the Phanteks

The 92 mm units (closed loop ones) are all priced insanely. Your best bet is to get a 92mm radiator, pump, and so on and configure one yourself. That way, your money is wisely spent, and if you upgrade, you can transplant and reuse all/some of the components.

For example, single unit, 92mm rad for 50 bucks:

http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g30...ater_Cooling_Radiators-92mm_Single-Page1.html

They also have a dual unit (actually you can source these else where if you wish, and other brands too).

I am sure you can ask those guys (FrozenCPU, or whatever vendor you want) to configure a kit for you.

FYI, with only a 92mm radiator, don't expect the setup to be very quiet. The pump is usually very audible, and a 92mm fan will have to spin faster to cool your setup compared to a 120mm fan (higher pitched and possibly higher intensity sound).

A good air cooler that might fit your case are those low profile coolers, like Noctua C-series, the Thermalright AXP100/200, etc.

Quiet to me is pretty much non-helicopter, but you are probably right that there are better air coolers, but I haven't found any. *sigh* I'll measure my case again tonight and post the measurements, see if I can find something new, give you guys more info.

Well. :/ I probably break 60 right now, so that's about the same, hitting 75c while hitting 60Dba though.
