Urgent: Need recommendation for a RAID (5 or better) card

Hi guys, I'm building a home server with Microsoft Server 2012 on it.
I'm looking for a good RAID card that can at least do RAID 5 (or a better solution- do tell me) configuration.

My specs are:
FD Core 304
B75M-ITX
8GB 1600MHZ
i3 3220
6 x 3TB WD RED

I think that's all you need^.

Please tell me why I should get the specific card you recommend. (As I am new to RAID configs.)

I wouldn't even consider RAID5 for home use. My recommendation would be to use either OpenIndiana, Linux, FreeNAS, or any OS that supports ZFS. Use multiple two-way mirror sets in your zpool and you have a fast, reliable NAS that supports CIFS, NFS, and so forth. You can easily replace or add...

I wouldn't even consider RAID5 for home use. My recommendation would be to use either OpenIndiana, Linux, FreeNAS, or any OS that supports ZFS. Use multiple two-way mirror sets in your zpool and you have a fast, reliable NAS that supports CIFS, NFS, and so forth. You can easily replace or add disks to increase the size and can move the disks to another system in the case of catastrophic hardware failure. I am running OpenIndiana and have survived both disk and SATA controller failures with no data loss. I am able to saturate my gigabit Ethernet with both reads and writes over CIFS and NFS. ZFS is the most reliable file system available at this time.
