Yep. You are ok, it will just run in single channel mode until you get another matching stick. when you do get the second stick, check your motherboard manual, sometimes slots 1 and 2 are "sister" slots and sometimes slots 1 and 3 are sister slots.
It'll work just fine, it won't work quite as fast as it could, and you're throwing all your eggs in one basket (with two sticks you can run with one if the other has a problem, with one stick you're sunk if it develops a problem). Save up and get another of the same stick when you can.
