Corsair AF or SP fans for GPU cooling?

Hi this is my first post so bear with me.

I built my PC a few months ago and the GPU and CPU have been getting pretty hot because of the summer heat. I was going to get the Corsair Series Fans because I heard good reviews on them. I was going get two Corsair AF fan and add them to the side panel (I'm using a Rosewill Challenger Case by the way :D) but the bottom fan mount is close to my Asus GTX 660 DirectCU II cooler.

So I was wondering if it would make a temperature difference if I got an SP fan and put it on the bottom mount for my GPU (because it is close to the DirectCU II heatsink/heatpipes) and put the AF fan on the top mount for my CPU.

Or should I just stick to putting two AF fans on BOTH mounts?
Will it make a difference?

Thanks in advance. :)

EDIT:
The fan ISN'T ON the heatsync, it is CLOSE to it.

Solution

Unless it's sealed directly to the heatsink, and the heatsink channels are very jagged and narrow, always use an AF fan.

Yeah I understand the differences in the fans, but I was wondering If I should use an SP fan for my bottom fan mount since its close to my GPU's DirectCU II heatsink/heatpipe. Thanks for your reply!

EDIT:

Nevermind. I'll just add two AF fans for my side panel.
