-Same price as your combo deal.
-Have the newer Haswell processor (not a huge difference, but newer is newer).
-Has a really good cpu cooler so you can OC.
-Has the GTX 760. It's a GTX 660ti with better memory bandwidth, so it's better.
-Has a HDD for storage.

Do you really need a blu-ray drive?

Hmm, I will look over these specs. As for the bluray, I don't NEED it, but I would like it. I have blue rays but no player in my room.

And to the other poster: no OS yet, will be getting windows 7. I need a full system, monitor, and OS for $2500 or under.

You can easily fit in a full rig under that price.

Essentially the same build as the one I posted above, except with a blu-ray drive, monitor, and os.
I recommend Windows 8 because you can make it look like windows 7 and it's newer. There's also other pros for getting Windows 8 over 7.

I really like realchaos suggestions, but your point is critical. Do you have any recommendation on compatible RAM for his suggested build?

The Ripjaws Z are fine, most of my clients working in CAD etc, go min of 2133, that's what I've got in my older SB, 32GB 2133 RJ X)..with the 3770K I'd look at the Tridents 2133 or 2400 (have 32GB 2400 Tridents in my IB 3570K and 32GB 2666 in my 4770K rig (I do a lot of CAD, Imaging, video, simulation, etc on my rigs)

You obviously don't use fast DRAM or apps that can utilize it, when it's how you make your living, or something you want to do, yes it's definately worth it...see all these people talking 1600 DRAM which is just entry level and they haven't used better or just don't use their rigs except for paying games, email and surfing....Many, many of us really use our rigs

You can always overclock 1600mhz to 1866mhz easily and save yourself $50. Honestly, the price difference between 1600mhz and 1866mhz is just way too big to justify actually buying it. Including the fact that he will already have a lot of ram, he should be fine after overclocking it.

It all goes back to the OP and if he feels whether the $50 is worth it.

Ocing a 32 GB set is a bit more than a 4 or 8 GB set, those are indeed generally easy if you have decent sticks

Good set of 32GB
1600/9 $255 F3-1600C9Q-32GSR
1866/10 $270 F3-1866C10Q-32GSR
2133/10 $290 F3-2133C10Q-32GSR
2400/11 $295 F3-2400C11Q-32GSR

$40 difference from 1600 - 2400 (well worth it)
