Okay, so I finished building my computer. I installed windows and all the programs I needed and installed my OS onto my SSD. Anyways I went to 'Boot' in the Advanced Setting menu and under 'Boot override' it showed my Optical, SSD, and HDD. I clicked on my Optical drive and my computer restarted and now a red LED light shows on my mother board under 'Boot device LED.' However this LED goes away when my login page shows up.

What is the problem?

And what exactly is a boot override and what does it do? Did I just harm my computer???? :(

Solution

I had a similar issue on my Sabertooth X58 one time, when it was in the BIOS to take pics of my build, simply boot from the SSD and you should be fine.

Do you know how to overclock the sabertooth? Everytime I try and over clock mine I get a blue error.... and my computer automatically shuts down and restarts... I don't even OC it that much
