Does a BSOD harm an SSD?

Hi. I've recently got a SSD, and I've got a lot of BSODs since because of overclocking with too little voltage. I've also used the power button to turn the computer off a few times before it boots off of either of my drives.

I ask this because my Samsung 840 Pro's read and write speeds according to PassMark are significantly slower than older samsung SSDs. This might be because my board or the cable I'm using isn't SATA 3 though.
