Just ordered my 6300. I have every part I need for my new build except my mobo, I'm completely stumped on which one to choose.

I was considering the MSI 970A-G46 because its $80 and has some pretty rave reviews but the only problem is you can't really overclock with a 6300 before it starts to throttle.

So can you guys/gals recommend a good, cheap and most importantly reliable mobo for the 6300 that overclocks really nicely? Please and thank you.. It really seems like all the AM3+ motherboards i come across have a high DOA chance, can't overclock with the new FXs very well or just have a whole different array of problems.

edit: might as well list my specs
2 x 4gb kingston hyper X limited edition ddr3 1600mhz
antec earthwatts 650w bronze
radeon 6670 1gb ddr3(dont laugh)
rosewill challenger case
fx 6300
running @ 1080p if that matters

I assume you meant the *M5A97.. i looked into it and its got some great reviews, tons of features for a sub $90 board and apparently there's no throttling issues at all, even with the 8350. Overall looks like a great board, most likely what I'm going with... Thanks

I have A gigabyte GA 970A-D3, I have my fx-6100 on 4.5 ghz, I paid $109 Aus 13 months ago so it should be a lot cheaper now especially in countries like the USA and Canada, we get ripped of in Australia on software and hardware
