first off I'm using a i5 3570k and a corsair h90i cooler set up with push/pull... my temps normally stay around 28c idle and 70 full load but after coming home from work i noticed the temps on my cpu were high 105c I'm getting these readings
cpu1 31c
cpu die 1 28c
cpu die 2 105c
cpu die 3 105c
cpu die 4 105c
cpu heatsink 23c
i pulled the tower out and noticed that one of the fans on the radiator was broke.. i shut the pc off and replaced the fan and after turning the pc back on the temps are exactly the same with cpu die 2,3,4 staying at 105c.. the pc was used all day by my wife and its hard to tell when the fan broke.. everything seems to be working just fine .. i guess my question is should i be ordering a new cpu asap or should i be ok for awhile

Solution
I was thinking that might be a possibility, yeah. I'm no expert at troubleshooting this stuff, but one thing you could try is underclocking the CPU and checking if any/all cores decrease in temperature. If not, it's likely that the sensors themselves are broken.

The maximum temperature for Intel CPUs generally 100c, and even then you're risking burning it out. The odd part is that one of the four readings is totally normal. If you're reading those temperatures with a 3rd party program, try checking the BIOS and see if the temps are normal there. If not, I'd look at the warranty for the radiator and/or CPU to see if there's any possibility of a replacement or refund; Running it as is seems too risky as it may damage the mobo as well.

bios states the cpu temp is 33c... is it possible that it may have got to hot and burned up some sensors or something for the cpu die temps to be so odd.. I've used istat menus and temperature monitor and the readings are both the same

over clocking to 4.4 gave me temps of about 35 to 40c in bios and on istat..... changing the bios back to default put temps back down to around 28c to 30c so I'm guess its something up with the sensors.. I'm going to be upgrading here in a few months anyways.. hopefully it lasts... thanks for the help
