You would yet be able to max out certain games for a period of time, for example at this point in time we have crysis 3, metro: last light, well as, in the same generation we do have far cry 3, bioshock infinite, etc. Wherein crysis 3 and metro ll are a lot more demanding than most of current generation games, the same would go on so on and so forth.

Even after 2 - 3 years there would be games you could max out, or maybe just disable anti aliasing... btw i have a gtx 650 ti boost 2 gb, and i get 53 fps in crysis 3 everything max only AA set to medium, tho i am gaming at 1360 X 768.

Your processor won't fit on that motherboard...
Get a Z77 based motherboard if you're gonna use a Ivy Bridge CPU.

The 4GB ram may be a little low to be future proof, I'd go for 8 or even 16GB.

Other then that, it looks good. Slap a decent cooler on that chip and it'll run for years with good performance.
The GPU may be on the low side but it all depends on what you want to run with it and on what settings and resolution. Will last you a year or 2-3 at least before you should begin to think about an upgrade.

Your Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H has socket type: LGA 1150, in other words it supports the 4th generation processors, but however your processor i5 3570K is a 3rd generation i5 which needs a LGA 1155 hence they r not compatible, u need to go for a Z77 chipset and not Z87. The Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H should do.

Having 4 gb or RAM would not suffice in the near future, better go for a 8 gb Ram, if only 8 gb ram, take a 2 X 4 gb stick to leverage the dual memory channel benefit. Rest i guess your fine and i am not into overclocking so u might need help elsewhere.

u mean z87 i guess, well for the z87 u can go for a i5 4670K, which is comparable to the 3570K but seats on the z87 motherboard.

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4670K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-3570K

and 8 gigs of ram is quite sufficient, unless ur skeptical u can go for 12 gigs of ram or 16 but i doubt if you really need that much.

No, it's neither powerfull or future proof.

- Only put a 120Gb SSD, that's nice as a Boot devide and a couple of programs/games but lack any true data storage.
- Only 4Gb is short even for today standarts, now i would not buy anything with less than 8gb, if want to keep a system for several years at least 16Gb
- The 7850 is at mid range in today standarts, if you want it for gamming its at the limit in current gen games, not futureproof at all.

Then is decent in today games, with 30-40 fps in currrent gen games but still not future-proof, dont hope to max games of 2-3 years ahead.
