Depends on the budget and how much of that 600W is free. What's the rest of the system? What are you willing to spend?

What's your budget? and which brand PSU do you have? You can upgrade to HD 7870 or HD 7950.

But this won't leave much margin on the PSU. Besides, if you don't do heavy gaming or graphic rendering a HD7870 or a 760gtx, or even a 660gtx, will do.

600W is enough if it's a reliable brand.

Indeed, 600W should be enough (never denied that), but measuring the needed wattage on only gpu and cpu is very simplistic (not to mention costly). Every single component in a system needs power, and the 'less important' components together arent' neglectible.

@nacdes: you should check for yourself, maybe using a calculator like http://www.thermaltake.outervision.com/

The ATI card suggested here are pcie 3.0. My mobo has pcie 2.0. Any issues on pcie 3.0 cards working on pcie 2.0 ?

All PCIe are compatible, and no gpu has good use of the 3.0, so no problem.
