Thanks for this but the problem isn't with the phone. I can connect other computers to the hotspot and iPads. The problem is with the Samsung computer. there is some type of firewall or something that isn't allowing me to get on the internet? At the bottom right corner of my pc I can see the signal bars for the wireless iPhone hotspot. If I click on that is says I am connected. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting and same result. When I click on windows explorer to get on Internet I get an error and cannot get on web. All other computers which are all apple products connect fine to the iPhone hotspot.
When i map the wireless connection it shows that the computer hooks to iPhone then to gateway and then to Internet. Thinking something is blocking me at gateway?

alright I just did a basic search around and model and make of your iphone wil help greatly.
As for a temp quick fix just to get it working try - "I find turning on Airplane mode and then back off will kickstart my internet sharing into working... But it only works once, and then the next time I have to connect, I have to do this again."
Someone mentioned after downloading OS6 they got these symptoms.
Something another person claimed was - "I figured it out. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and then let your phone restart and try connecting as usual to your Wi-Fi personal hot spot. Works fine now!".
Let me know how you go, good luck *thumbs up*
