Let me just preface this with the fact that I have read and done everything on this list with no avail http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
So I just got a new msi motherboard after my old As Rock got a little too old and under powered for what I had on it. I put it together yesterday and have yet to get any display to my screens. The computer will turn on and the mb will display that it's in phase 4 of it's power mode (still not really sure what that means). All the fans are turning and everything is running cool. I just can't seem to get it to display anything. Please help I'm sure I've just overlooked something along the way.
UPDATE: I have just taken my entire computer apart and rebuilt it following the manual to the T and still nothing. Also I tried booting with my old GPU and it still didn't work so I know it isn't GPU related. Finally I also saw something about an MSI motherboard recall and was wondering if mine would fall under any of the problems that they're supposedly having. Thank you.

My CPU is a AMD FX-4100 3.6 ghz bulldozer. It's around a year old and has never given me any problems.

Here is my motherboard

and here is the gpu I'm trying to use

Solution
If you know that the graphics card does work... then it might be a board issue.
Try though reseating the CPU. After that, test the board outside the case with minimum components.
Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for few minutes).
Then leave single RAM stick installed, graphics card, DVD-drive, keyboard and mouse.
Try connecting the monitor using a DVI-I to VGA adapter or DVI-I to DVI-I (not DVI-D or HDMI).
See if still the same.

Still nothing, it just sits there, doing nothing.
