Hi, I wonder if you all can help me with a graphics issue I am having. I want to run several programs (mainly games) that only support a resolution of

1024x768, however my display settings only allow me to select between 1280x720 and 800x640.

I've Googled extensively (about 2 hours!) for a solution that would allow me to force a resolution of 124x768, but to no avail. Among the things I've seen
suggested are :

1. Registry editing (doesn't seem to work)
2. Using Nvidia Control Panel to select a custom resolution (the "Customize" button is greyed out and the expanded list of available resolutions don't

include 1024x768 among them)

I've also found some third-party software that claims to be able to do what I want but I am extremely wary of installing programs that I don't know anything
about. Also, I would prefer to have a solution that doesn't involve running an unknown .exe file.

I am using a desktop, running Windows 7. My GPU is a Geforce GTX 275 with the latest drivers installed.

Can anyone help?
