Hi people. I'd like to ask you about my problem.

Since some time ago my computer randomly crashes, with a loud sound loop, and the only way to get it working again is restarting.

My problem is exactly this (go to 0:45):

Hardware on this machine:
i7 2600k (no OC), 16gb ram Gskill 1600mhz, Mother ASUS p8p67 pro, GPU Gigabyte GTX 570, 2 mechanical HD with 2 tb and one SSD 120 gb, power supply powercooler 600w.

Some extra info
- There is not an OS problem. I have two OS installed on this computer, in two different drives and the crash occurs on both.

- The computer is connected to an UPS unit. Could it be the reason of this problem?

- The computer has no overclock in any component.

- The crashes usually occurs when I'm doing heavy processes (like games or video renders in Adobe Premiere o Adobe After Effects), but sometimes also occurs with light process (like navigation or music)

If you could help me on this I would be really thakful. This crash is really annoying, specially when I'm working.

Thank you, and sorry for my bad english.

Solution
3 things that can cause this:

1) bad ram. Run windows memory diagnostic for a quick test. Follow up with memtestx86+ overnight (at least 6 hours) to make sure your ram is OK

2) Bad sound card. Unlikely though as this typically glitches out the audio only and not the entire system. Only test of this is to disable/remove your sound card and see if the problem persists.

3) Bad drivers. Could be any driver in the system causing the issue, but most likely the graphics driver. Never use drivers provided by Windows Update, always use drivers from your manufacturer.

Solution
Oh,
Also be sure to get into UEFI and load default settings. Sometimes BIOS settings can get a little screwed up, and reloading defaults can fix odd problems like this. after reloading defaults then go back through and set up your preferences.

As I can see, there is no problems on RAM. Am I right?

Thank you!
