How do I remove the front bracket so that I can put the optical drive?

I didn't get what the manual said. anyway, I realise I have to break it, and screw the bracket if not in use. although I have a problem or something. there is this strange wire that is screwed at the left side of the first bracket it leads to the front I/O. any ideas how can I put the optical drive there without the wire showing up?
