Hi guys !

I have an ASUS M59A7 EVO REV 2.0, and have been toying with the idea of using crossfirex. I'm new to crossfirex and am slightly confused. My manual for board reads: 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16.
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black).Does this mean my second card will run at 4x ? and if so will there be any issues ? Thank you.

Solution
The PSU is sufficient, but performance of the second card in a x4 slot will not be very good. Something like a single HD7870 or GTX660Ti would be better.
As you've surmised from the x4 second slot, this is not a good board for Crossfire. This doesn't even address the (improving) driver issues with Crossfire in general, but you'd be better-served by a single more powerful card. What are your intended uses, budget, and the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU?

Hi Onus ! Thank you for the reply !
My card is an ASUS HD7770 OC special edition with 2gb ram and i have a Corsair 600 watt psu. I read on ASUS website that 600 is fine for 2 HD7770's ?

I use it for gaming mainly.

:)
