Hi, ive had an external hard drive (320gb Seagate) and I partitioned it so I could have 32gb FAT32 for my xbox 360.. im now on a new computer using windows 8 and only the 32gb side is showing.. when I plug it into my dads MacBook it shows the two of them so I know that it is not corrupted or anything, so does anyone know how do I make the second side show in my windows 8 pc?

What is the other partition? If it is a Mac partition then your PC will not be able to mount it. It needs to be either FAT or NTFS to work properly

I dont think xbox will allow you to have multiple partitions on drives used by it.

I know that, i only use the 32gb partition (FAT32 format) for the xbox.. Its when i plug into my pc that it should show both partitions but it does not

Did you look in disk management? Maybe the drive doesn't have a letter yet.

I just checked and there is no letter or file format showing.. it only gives me the option to 'delete volume'.. I will post pics now and hopefully you (or anyone else) can advise me on what to do next, Thanks

Actually scratch that as I cannot figure out how to upload a screenshot on toms hardware (and help would be great).. but yeah im guessing il just have to delete the partition and do it from scratch or is there a way to assign it a letter? (don't forget the only option from all tasks is to delete volume so any help would be great! Thanks

Just upload the image to any site and then make sure to locate the full location of the picture, usually ending with the file format like jpg or you can just post the link to the photo on here.
