When our computer is plugged directly into the network it has an IP of 192.168.1.100. When we connect the router into the network it changes the computers network IP to 10.0.0.2. I need to be able to use the wireless aspect of the router while still keeping the original IP on the computer so as to access our correct work network. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It sounds like you are plugging one of the LAN ports and not the WAN port of the router into your work network thus you have 2 DHCP servers handing out addresses and the closest one will win. This is certain to wreck havoc on your network.

Plug the other router into the network through the WAN port and have it configured to get it's "public" IP through DHCP from your current network (or assign it a known available static) and then configure it to be on a different subnet than you work network. The downside of this is that you wont be able to share resources across networks but it will be more secure for your work.

If you need to share resources than you can put it in bridge mode and just connect it and all traffic will pass through it.
