Hello Everyone,
Alright so about a week ago I started up this minecraft server for me and my friends that is now bukkit and it seems like this problem started occurring right after. Whenever I have the server up for a few hours my computer crashes and gets the infamous bsod. Now, this doesn't happen every time I host the server, as most nights it runs without too much hassle. I don't think it's a heating problem because the program I use (HWMonitor) says that my cpu runs at a maximum of around 50 C, and my gpu at around 60 C. I really cannot explain why this is crashing as everything should be running smoothly. I also run minecraft client with 8gigs of ram, and whatever the default is for the Bukkit server.

I do use a 256x texture pack and have the glsl shaders, but it still happens without the shaders. The programs that are in the background are: Chrome (with 4 or 8 tabs), Sticky Notes, sometimes HWMonitor, AIM, mouse driver, keyboard driver, sound card driver, Skype, Avast!, Winamp, Catalyst Control Center, and Rainmeter.

I don't normally post on forums, so please excuse me if I sound ungrateful or if I screw something up in any posts. Thanks in advance!

Applications cannot cause BSoDs on their own. There must be a fault in the kernel or a driver for that to happen. Start updating drivers and removing software that interacts with drivers or the kernel until it stops. This includes Avast and HWMonitor. If you can post a summary from the crashlogs that would help too.
