Will phenome x4 9550 work on this
Or any phenom II processor

IMHO I wouldn't put anything into upgrading an Optiplex, they have crap cooling and tend to kill PSUs and other hardware in short order on stock hardware. I couldn't even tell you how many of these I've seen die in the various places I've worked at.
