Hi, I've been having some problems with my friend's computer; it can't boot into Windows XP. It is a Dell Dimension 4600 with Windows XP Pro (Home Edition). I've been trying to install Windows 8 on his computer but I kept running into things, and one of the last steps to install it was to install Sp3. So, I did and restarted the computer. It makes it past the loading screen with the Dell logo, but after it it says:

Initializing Intel(R) Boot Agent Version 4.1.06 PXE 2.1 Build 083 (WfM 2.0), RPL V2.74

This also happened when I tried to install a driver to recognize exFAT file managing and restarted. He got out of it by pressing... random buttons. Maybe it was that, or it was just loading....? Nothing that I know of could have corrupted or messed with anything in the system. Please figure out a reason for this; I've searched many other places for this and couldn't find anything like it. Thanks.

That means it's trying to boot from the network card as there is a boot-over-lan thing that can be done. It usually comes up when the hard drive is dead or not present so it tries to like boot from floppy, usb, dvd, hard drive and then LAN.

I know that Partitions on this particular hdd are messed up but to fix it i need to know what cause it to trip?
