GTX 660 or HD 7870.. PSU AND RES?

I would want to know the power supply requirment of gtx 660 (non-ti) and hd 7870
secondly which of these will work better with 1024*768 VGA display.. I KNOW its an overkill but i will upgrade later...
PLEASE ANSWER BOTH QUESTIONS!

The HD 7870 is faster but not by much, get the cheapest one or try and get one by Asus or MSI, both make great coolers.

What are the rest of your components? Any overclocks?

Yeah, I would say the 7870 is better.
