Greeting,

I'm switching:
1) Intel 2500k CPU
2) Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3 Motherboard

to:
1) Intel 4670k CPU
2) Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H

***Everything else (SSD,HDD,GPU etc) will stay the same.***

My Question is:
- Can I just swap the CPU/Motherboard and simply update some drivers?
I know ideally I should do a fresh install, but then I have to install all my programs and settings again.
- What would your advice be if you have a limited amount of time and wanted the least amount of frustration?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Sincerely,

- Budha

well it may or may not. It might boot up and install the drivers or it might boot and BSOD from driver conflict. sometimes it works sometimes it don't. The only way to know is do it. The other thing would be the product key you might have to call MS
