Hello, I'd like to know which setup is faster.
- 2x 1TB Western Digital Red in Raid 0
- 1x 2TB Western Digital Black
Thanks in advance

The first one of course.

But you'd better get a SSD if performance is what you aim for.

Edit: Now most people will get a 256GB SSD for their OS and Software, and a secondary 1TB Black for the Data (Pics, Music, Movies, etc...). A solid combination would be:

1 x Samsung 840 "Evo" 250 GB
1 x WD 1TB Black

Very good bang for the bucks too.

I can't really spend the money in a SSD right now. Do you think that it is worth getting 2x REDs for video editing and gaming? Is it a lot faster than a single 1TB Black?

For video editing yes. It will be a lot faster.

For gaming not so much. Only the maps will load faster, but during actual gaming it won't make any difference.
