Hello.
I have a PC,it's currently 4 years old
and it has an Intel I3 in it,I would like to know, which one should I order?
Intel i5,or AMD FX-6300 ?
Intel i5 seems better, but I'm not quite sure.
FX 6300 seems a lot cheaper in my country, but I'm not too much into computers,
I dont know too much about what's compatible with what, and which one's better.
I look forward to playing DayZ mod,but on my PC it's currently laggy.
Second question,
I've also been thinking about buying a GTX 760,as it seems quite good for most of the games. But maybe there's a better one, perhaps 50 euros more expensive, but one that is actually worth it.

Solution
i can tell you for a fact that the amd cpu is not going to be compatible with your intel board.

look at your motherboard for the model number and brand. list them here.

to upgrade your cpu we need to figure out what socket you have as only cpus which fit that socket may be used. this may involve getting an older generation i5 chip if that is what you want.

a better upgrade then a cpu would be a new gpu.

what are you currently using?

i suggest taking a look at the gpu charts found on anandtech.com benchmark area and noting what the performance numbers of the cards are. you can then look them up to see the price and base your "is it worth it or not" conclusion on the hard data.
