Hi,

I am a little concerned about my cpu & gpu config.

Basically i have a fx 6100 black edition cpu and just yesterday brought a msi gtx 670 power edition.

I upgraded from a amd 7850 for rome 2.

I play at 1368 x 768 res, but thinking of a new monitor soon and currently have 4gb vengence ram.

My main concern is the possible bottleneck, could someone give some advice, i only brought gpu yesterday.

Cheers

I don't believe that the CPU will be a bottleneck but if it starts to be all you have to do is overclock it a bit and that should help, if for some reason it becomes an issue and the overclocking doesn't help then you would have to upgrade to a better CPU possibly the FX-6350. The FX-6100 is a six core at 3.3ghz so I really don't see it being a bottleneck.

The only instance I can think of where your CPU could cause a bottleneck is in the occasional game that's poorly optimized for multithreading. The one example that comes to mind is Planetside 2, which runs everything on one thread and slows to a crawl on AMD systems. Other than that, you've got a nice setup.
