Previous Overclock settings have failed...

I just built a system including MSI Z87-GD65, Intel i5-4670K (stock cooler), G.SKILL Z 2x4GB, Corsair HX650, Corsair 500R and it is giving me the "Previous Overclock settings have failed, press F1 to change settings or whatever". This usually happens when I do a cold boot and not a reboot, but I have noticed sometimes during a reboot the case lights will turn off (which does not happen most of the time) and it will also give me the error. This happens ALMOST every cold boot, rarely it doesn't.

The only settings I have changed in BIOS are enabling XMP, did this also in MSI Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. The system is not unstable when booted up and I can easily pass the message by hitting F1 and then Save & Exiting the BIOS. It's more annoying and worrying then an immediate problem.

Online I have seen issues in the RAM and Motherboard area, mostly from this website.

Sorry, I like to be very precise.

I grabbed these - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428. They are not listed as supported in Supported -> Memory on the MSI Z87-GD65 website - http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87-GD65-GAMING.html#support. Though I thought it wouldn't matter.

As for XMP in BIOS it I only set XMP enabled and MSI Intel Extreme Tuning Utility I enabled Profile 1: XMP - 1600

I have RAMs in those slots already, I will try DRAM voltage at 1.55.

I'm not quite sure what to mess with to be able to change it, I click on Auto to try to change DRAM voltage to manual and be able to edit it but nothing happens. Guessing I have to change something else off Auto first. Here is pics of the entire OC settings in my BIOS so you can give me a little nudge. Sorry if I'm a bit noob and thanks for all the help so far!

In the 3rd image towards the bottom is DRAM Voltage, clicked Auto to change to manual and be able to edit but it didn't do anything. Checked Intel Extreme Tuning Utility but I should of known it wouldn't be in there.

Only values that have "[Auto]" not just "Auto" can be changed. I set the Frequency to DDR3-1600 manually just for the hell of it. I'm pretty sure I have to change something else off of "[Auto]" before I can set the voltage. Possibly XMP.

MSI Command Center has a setting for DRAM Voltage, it's currently at 1.5v, should I change it there.

Yes, 1.3. Updated when I got system up and running.

Just checked CPU-Z, SPD is reporting sticks are in slots 2 & 4. I'm going to double check Hardware Explorer in BIOS and my manual and probably correct that, even though it should work properly.

I'll try it, like you said and what I have heard online, I figured I get much better response on here. Thanks for all your help, this is the first build I have had a bit of trouble with. MSI probably wasn't the best choice, but I'm going to deal with it.
