I currently have a hive 750 watt http://www.rosewill.com/products/1802/ProductDetail_Ove...
and it has been restrting my computer every time i start a game, im not 100% sure it is it but its not mobo or cards or cpu, they were all tested seperetly.
Specs: Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 Motherboard
x2 EVGA Gtx 580
i-5 2500k
500Gb Seagate
8 Gb Kingston HyperX
Note i was having issues having the second card being detected but solved it. I really think its the PSU though, idk if it is strong enough for the rails or whatever.

Maximum GPU Temperature (in C) = 97 C
Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) = 244 W
Minimum System Power Requirement (W) = 600 W

So 600+ 244 for SLI

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 580

On your average system the card requires you to have a 650 Watt power supply unit.

GeForce GTX 580 in SLI

A second card requires you to add another 250 Watts. You need a 900+ Watt power supply unit if you use it in a high-end system (1 KiloWatt recommended if you plan on any overclocking).
