I am building on my own for the first time and I am scared to god I just ruined the M/B. I installed the GPU and I am realizing now that I must have forgotten to pull the tab up on one end of the PCI 16 slot when inserting it down (although it appeared even, and seemed to insert all the way down). then I wanted to take the GPU out to see if I could turn it around (so that the fans were facing the other direction), and it got stuck on one end while pulling it up, and after trying to pull that end out, the whole PCI slot appears to have lifted off the M/B on one end, and I heard a little clink or two. I am scared as heck and don't know what to do. I was trying to reach the tab to push it out/down but it wasn't budging (I could only approach it from an awkward angle with one finger though)..
edit: Ok it appears that it may have been just the plastic casing around the slot, or something. I am still a nervous wreck though because I don't know what to do next - like if i should not touch it and go to a PC repair shop as soon as possible (which won't be until tomorrow late afternoon).
EDIT 2: Oh god there is a single small pin that was pulled out at the very end of the PCI thing. Oh no..
