Hi,
I have an old 660 series DSL modem with wireless capability. I want to use the DSL modem's wireless capability and hook it to the cable modem via one of the 4 Ethernet ports.

So, I want to use the DSL modem's wireless capability and hook a cable modem to one of the 4 Ethernet ports.

After that i want to connect to the DSL wireless network let's call the wireless network "WWX", I want to access the service i have on the
cable modem (use the cable modem service) so i can access the internet without directly plugging in the Ethernet cable from the cable modem. Right now i cannot use my notebook unless it is hooked to the ethernet port of the cable modem.

can I get the steps to do this?
I've done it before but it's been so long I forgot the ip's to use and gateway info, etc. i need.

Your cable modem is prob with the IP of 192.168.0.1 when you connect the the DSL modem will want it set to something like 192.168.0.25 as a static IP before hooking up to the cable modem, to do that remove a system from the cable network and plug directly into the old DSL, open a browser window and put in 192.168.0.1 or whatever the IP is for the DSL - or use software for it and change the static IP
