Hey everyone!
So recently (June) I picked up a custom computer build from Origin PC based in Florida. One of the first problems I had in the first week I got it was my GPU was overheating like crazy. I picked up a GTX 690 and I was seeing temps reaching from 81C to 93C before I just stopped it completely. I called them the next week and was simply told that these temperatures were normal and ok. (Stinking pile of bull) After some tinkering I realized the heat was being recirculated across the case, so I opened it up to run freely and the temps went way down to what they normally run at now 45C-63C.
Enough with the history for now.
I recently bought Arma 3 Beta and Saints Row IV (I'm a pleb casual, I know I know) but whilst playing SR4, the game simply stopped, the screen went black and it crashed to desktop saying there was a driver failure. Then it happened later on in the day, except this time my computer froze all together. I hit Num Lock and the light did not come on, and the cursor stopped moving. So I had to do a hard restart. (hate doing that)
Next thing to happen is completely random crashes in Arma 3 straight to desktop saying it stop responding. This is reoccurring. I installed the newest Nvidia Driver today.
And a little bit of background on me: I'm not terribly tech savvy. Also like short, brisk walks on the beach.
Computer specs:
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE (USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s, WiFi)
System Cooling: ORIGIN FROSTBYTE 120 Sealed Liquid Cooling Systems
Processors: OC'd Intel Core i7 3770K Quad-Core (4.1GHz-4.4GHz), 8MB Cache
Power Supply: 850 Watt Corsair TX850M
Graphic Cards: Single 4GB EVGA GTX 690
Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1866Mhz (2x8GB)
Operating System: Genuine MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Edition
Hard Drive One: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 6.0Gb/s, 7200RPM, 64MB Cache
Thanks for taking a look!
