Electrical Interference with Gigabit Internet

Tomorrow I get a gigabit connection setup and I had a question about electrical interference. Due to an unfortunate room setup I need to send the cat6 ethernet cable and the computer/monitor(x2)/printer/etc power strip along the same wall. If these cables are practically touching for a 10 foot parallel path (I don't want the cables going across the middle of the room) is this going to noticeably affect my (gigabit) internet speeds? Are there any hints or tricks I might use to decrease any issues? I know I'm supposed to cross the cables at right angles, but seeing as the path is parallel I'm not sure that will help.

Thanks.

Best bet is to try it and see if it works or not the normal ethernet cable may be good enough. I have only see it cause a problem when we ran it too close the ballast in a florescent light. The cost of a unshielded cable is almost nothing so unless the labor is huge to rerun a shielded cable if it does not work I would try it first.
