I am not good with computer terms so it might be a little confusing.
What happens was my cousins liquid cooler, the part where you put thermal paste to connect to the cpu started leaking liquid and I have to replace parts for it.
His budget isn't really that big 100-200 dollars. I have experience from building my own gaming pc thanks to this site and now I need your guys advise again.
100% Need Replacement-
Video Card (tested by swapping two cards multiple times, and original didn't show anything on monitor during startup)
HSF ( i5-768)
Not Sure-
CPU( heats up alot during start up and shuts down during log in screen, havn't tested with a hsf yet)
Motherboard( don't know how to test if MB is damage)
Original Parts-
MSI H55M-P33 LGA 1156 Intel H55 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Is a liquid cooler necessary for this build because on my personal pc, i use a coolermaster hsf on my i5-2400 and it has given me no trouble yet and I don't have any experience installing liquid cooling and don't want to jeopardize his pc.
