Hi everyone, first ever pc build and don't want to buy a brick. So I am asking you as it seems like you all know what your talking about. Here goes:

Approximate Purchase Date: Next weekend

Budget Range: £750 after shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, internet, basic work functions

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Any website that delivers to the UK

Location: UK, Scotland, Glasgow

Parts Preferences: Not too picky, I have heard an AMD 8 core can be good as it plays games smoothly and can run background tasks, which is sort of what I want

Overclocking: No (unless it takes down the price)

SLI or Crossfire: I just need a GPU that can run games such as BF4, Arma, WoT etc on say medium/high settings and no lag or trouble

Your Monitor Resolution: 1280 x 960 (maybe upgrading in another month or so to a better)

Additional Comments: need OS of windows 7 or 8, games such as BF4, WoT, Arma 3

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Not got a gaming pc and finally have a budget to build one

Thanks

Wow that was a quick reply! Thank you for that, it all looks really good. And the budgets not too shabby either! Will this play BF4, arma3, plant side on high settings with good fps? Obviously this is a basis for me. Would be happy with medium/high. Thanks again!

That's great! One last question, I have never built a pc and am apprehensive! But is there any tutorials or that for this exact build? If not how much would it cost roughly, to get a pc shop to do it for me? Thanks a lot
