How will battlefield 4 work with an a10 quad core APU and a radeon 7950?

Hey guys, i have been wanting to upgrade to some new parts for next gen, and i am worried it wont work well together.

Solution
This CPU/GPU combination should perform well with most current and expected future games. Of course, you can always spend more to build a stronger system. Really a matter of desired cost/performance ratios.

Good luck!

Thank you for the answer, i was a little worried. Im not sure that APU will work well with a gpu or if it will bottleneck, what do you think? Also, if you think the apu wont work well, do you think an athlon 750k would be compatible with a 7778 msi mobo?

after a quick relook, anything over radeon 7770 will bottleneck, so yes i would say this would bottleneck

I don't agree with this assessment. The APU is essentially a 4-core CPU + a fairly good integrated GPU (for basic games and computer use). When using a dedicated GPU like a HD78XX or HD79XX GPU, the integrated GPU is not used in any way and the APU acts like any other AMD quad-core CPU.

There is no reason, at all, to assume a major bottleneck with the proposed config. However, there are certainly more capable CPUs that take more advantage of the proposed HD7950.

Thanks for the response guys. Actually ill just plug in the gpu when i get it and see. BUT, if it IS too slow, will an athlon 750k CPU work in my mobo? (mobo is 7778 jasmine)
