msi 970A-G46 and amd fx6300

hey guys so i just wanted to know a few things my mobo is si 970A-g46 and from what i read the max voltage to go is around 1.45 but i wana oc my fx 6300 cpu to 4.7ghz and i would have to go like 1.55 volts and thats wayyy to high for my mobo but what if i use 2 amd cpu fans that i took out of the stock coolers and put it on the vrm to lower the temps. would that be a good idea??

It would help a bit, but I have the same board and CPU, and the board died on me after trying to reach that overclock. So id advise you to avoid raising the voltage and clock speed too high.

ya right now i have it at 4.4 @ 1.48 volt to bad the mobo cant handle high voltage did an 1h prime95 test no errors and max temps was at 64c

Do not overclock with that board. None. Zero. I PROMISE you, the VRM will blow eventually on that motherboard. If I were you, contact MSI and ask to trade up to a better board.
