forgot admin password

i am the soul owner and admin of this computer in question but i have forgotten my own user password which has the admin rights. I am running windows 7 and I have two accounts have been set on the system. One is system administrator that i do not have the password another account is a standard user which i let my kids use without password. I need to know how to bypass the system adminstrator authentication and get administrator authority on the standard account so i can regain control of my system. If someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

Hrrmm....I'm not entirely sure that there's a way to actually answer that question without breaking any number of parts of the TOS of this site, unfortunately.

ok thanks any way i shall have to buy a new system then and use this one as an expensive paper weight

Our main reason for having the rule that we don't give password advice is we don't wish inadvertently to help someone hack into another person's computer. If you take it to a profession PC Fixer and prove ownership, they may be able to help you.
