Hi all. I'm looking to buy a new setup in the $1500-2000 range. My game is World of Warcraft. Looking to get 60+ FPS under ultra settings and would like to record using fraps as well as do some streaming (xsplit). Now in my experience when streaming/using fraps/being in intensely populated zones has always caused FPS drops to uncomfortable levels. So I'm more concerned with keeping FPS as much in 60+ range as I can.

I'm not looking to overclock or do multiple monitors or anything. I'll post what I have in mind. I'm sure some of it is overkill, but I like to overcompensate as I tend to have my machines for a while. But I will comment on where I'm not sure if the upgrade is worth it or not and you guys can help. Also just let me know if you suggest a different component anywhere. I will buy from ibuypower.com as they have a lot of the customization I like. So here is what I have so far:

1. Case
Corsair Obsidian Series 550D Gaming Case Black
Open for suggestions, just went for a simple/silent case

2. CPU
Intel® Core™ i7-4770 Processor (4x 3.40GHz/8MB L3 Cache)

3. Cooling
Corsair Hydro Series H55 Liquid CPU Cooling System with Standard 120mm Fan
Back to school sale on this only $10 more than Certified CPU Fan and Heatsink. But is liquid cooling really necessary for my purposes?

4. RAM
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB [8 GB x2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module

5. Graphics Card
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 - 2GB
OR
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 - 2GB $141 cheaper, thoughts?

6. Mother Board
ASUS Z87-A
OR
ASUS Z87-PRO -- 2x PCIE 3.0 x16, 2x Gb LAN, 6x USB 3.0, Wifi+Bluetooth [+$80]
Thoughts on difference of the two? or another brand?

7. PSU
750 Watt - Corsair CX750
Not very knowledgeable with PSU reqs for what the setup will be, but there are lots of options to choose from, so what would you recommend?

8. Primary Drive
120 GB ADATA SSD
Other company option is Corsair, thoughts?

9. Data Drive
1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 32M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s

10. Disc Drive
[12x Blu-Ray] LG BLU-RAY Reader, DVD±R/±RW Burner Combo Drive

11. Flash Reader
12-In-1 Internal Flash Media Card Reader/Writer Black

12. Sound Card
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy SE -- 7.1 Channels, 96KHz/24-bit
They also have the ASUS Xonar's, but for extra $50-100, not really sure here. Do I even need to change from onboard sound? I'll hook up speakers and subwoofer and mainly just use for music

13. Network Card
Onboard LAN Network (Gb or 10/100)
OR
Intel Pro 10/100/1000 Network Card
The intel card is $34 extra, is this even worth it?

With all this it's between 1700 and 1800 which is my sweet spot right now.
Also, I already have a good monitor and mouse/keyboard setup. I also do not want to build anything myself.

So, can you comment overall as per my needs, as well as where I commented in bold? Also what are your thoughts on ibuypower.com quality and experience?

Thanks so much for the help!

Pretty sure WOW has v-sync enabled permanently so you must have a 120hz or 144hz panel, or CRT. i7-4770k and a pair of GTX580s couldn't pull it off. Main towns with all graphics turned up, commonly saw frames dip below 40. Generally considered to be a CPU bound game.

Raids and other less-populated areas were always maxed at 60 which I think would be more important for recording.
-Get an i5, you don't need an i7 unless you do video encoding/rendering. If your doing streaming at 1080p I think the i7 might be better though for you.

-Get a Samsung Pro SSD

-WoW is not a demanding game, any normal 400+ series can run it ultra over 60fps fine. If you plan to plan any other demanding modern games get the 770.

-Any case is fine

-You do not need a sound card unless you have good headphones, or need extra audio ports.

-You do not need a network card.

-8GB of memory is more than adequate.

-You do not need a liquid cooler unless you have a -k version of the intel i5 or i7.

-I say go with the Pro version of the motherboard.

-Power supply unit is fine

You're paying a lot for this build, when you get most likely get it for cheaper if you build it yourself. I've never bought a custom gaming PC from anywhere, ever, so I cannot speak on their quality, but I assume they will be fine if you want to go that route.

Pretty much no matter what you do you won't get 60 FPS in populated towns. Just far too much to draw at once.

You don't need a separate network card unless you want WIFI, which doesn't seem to be an option.

Onboard sound is adequate for most people. Unless you own very expensive headphones or a complex speaker setup you should be fine.

CX750 is a decent sized power supply, but not really of high quality.

Not a lot of point in pairing a Z87 Pro with a 4770. But if you aren't overclocking the Z87 Pro is still a great board.

Thanks for responses. Can you elaborate more about z87 with 4770 pairing. What other motherboard would you recommend. Also what is a better quality PSU? What is the wattage range requirements for my setup?

Ok thanks! Now any other comments on performance in wow with this setup? Since that is what I'm mainly concerned with. I know edogawa said the FPS should be 60+ even with populated cities.

Let me put it this way, last time I played was with my 670, and in non cities where there was lots of stuff going on I was getting over 120FPS on max settings. In cities, I don't go under 60fps. I have my processor overclocked too, so if you get -k version, you can easily overclock also to help.

As the guy above said though, WoW is CPU dependent, so overclocking would help.
