Hello, I have a concern about my newly build pc, I click the power button, but the cpu fan, and gpu fan spin, then everything shuts down.

Here is my hardware:

Gigabyte z87x-ud3h mother board
GTX 760 2gb
i5-4670k
coolermaster haf 922 mid tower
evga 750w gold plus psu

it kinda makes me sceptical about if I have put it together right or if something is broken. Thanks for the help!

Did you try to overclock, if so, reset the CMOS as it seems like a corrupted bios due to OCing

If that don't work, make sure all connectors are plugged-in, try to boot without the GPU installed (plug the monitor in the motherboard and use the HD4600 included with the 4670k

Make sure to have certified ram for you motherboard, you can try to reseat them and/or use the 2 other slots (if you're using dual channel kit), try to use only 1 stick to help compatibility... Some motherboard have trouble with 4 dimms at the same time too so install only 2 if it's the case

You can also unplug everything that you don't need to boot (HDD, SSD, Optical drive, USB devices,etc...) If the system boots it'll give you an error but you'll know that...

If the system boots it'll give you an error but you'll know that something interfer with the boot process, replug one device, reboot, plug one other, reboot, etc... Until it'll no longer boot, you'll then know that this devices isn't compatible or have a trouble (i've seen keyboard, optical drive and HDD that was causing the bios to interrupt and restart)

Also, does your mobo have an LCD poster ?? If yes what's the code displayed on it ??
